Hydraulic Bolts and Nuts

Hydraulic nuts are designed to tighten large diameter bolts without causing the damage that occurs when hammer wrenches are employed. With the hydraulic nut solutions, customers can tighten large bolts with little to no effort and do so without causing any damage.

Hydraulic nuts enable large diameter bolts to be tensioned with ease to high and accurate preloads. A hydraulic pump activates the internal jacking system, so the effort required to tighten a very large diameter bolt is reduced to the effort needed to operate the pump.

As there is no nut rotation during tightening, the operation can be performed in a confined space and torsional stresses on thread damage are eliminated. Any number of hydraulic nuts can be connected together for simultaneous operation, ensuring all bolts in the joint can be evenly loaded to the same high and accurate preload.

Metric banjo eye fittings 70011 are used with either rubber or polymid hard plastic hose. Hollow fittings are used in conjunction with our banjo for fuel, air oil, etc. Banjo fittings from YH are good for high pressure applications. These fittings come in zinc or yellow zinc plated finishes.

72011 BSP banjo fitting comprises a perforated hollow bolt and spherical union for fluid transfer.
